ICT Procurement Officer (KTP Associate)

(15 month fixed term post)

Salary up to £21,000 (+ £3,000 individual training budget)

Paisley South Housing Association (PSHA) is a registered social landlord (RSL) that manages and maintains homes to let to those in housing need and, where necessary, supporting them to sustain their tenancies through the provision of various services.  The company is embarking on a collaborative project to procure a new housing management system that will best fit its future needs and provide sophisticated business process automation, business intelligence (BI) and analytics capability.  This project will support PSHA’s wider digital inclusion strategy as well as addressing funding pressures to find efficiency savings and deliver “more for less”.

We wish to recruit an Honours graduate (minimum 2.1 classification) in Business Technology, Information Technology Management, or equivalent. The successful candidate should possess knowledge of the Information Computing Technology procurement process, preferably at enterprise level, and experience in the preparation of associated technology specifications. Experience in data and information management, data reporting and project management is essential. Some experience of the management of a full IT procurement project as well as the use of data reporting tools and supporting servers and general desktop technologies in a business environment would be advantageous. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and you will be expected to work well independently and with others and to deliver successful outcomes to tight deadlines. Good written and verbal English and the ability to exercise a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy are also requirements of the post.

This is a 15 month fixed term post, which will be based at PSHA premises in Paisley. It is anticipated that PSHA will require to recruit to a full-time ICT post at the end of the procurement project. You will report to a senior PSHA manager and benefit from the support and the profile that this affords whilst also being supervised by a senior academic from the School of Engineering and Computing at the University of the West of Scotland.
