Data Scientist - KTP Associate

The Department of Computer & Information Sciences and The Department of Marketing in partnership with Adimo ( is seeking to appoint a Data Scientist (KTP Associate) to focus on state-of-the-art NLP techniques to understand the core properties of recipe ingredients and associated customer behaviour. Adimo is live in over 50 countries worldwide so it’s important that the solution is multi-lingual, performant and scalable.

You will be based predominantly at the company’s premises in Glasgow, but will be employed by and have access to facilities of the University of Strathclyde including Archie West Supercomputing Centre. Drs. Dmitri Roussinov (from CIS) and Graeme McLean (from Marketing) will provide academic support for the project.

You will also have the opportunity to register for a research degree (free of charge) based on the work carried out on the project.

The post will be initially based remotely (subject to Covid-19 guidelines) then at the company premises in Glasgow.
