Golden Casket is one of the largest and most innovative confectionery specialists in the UK.  The company has been growing successfully for more than 50 years.  An exciting opportunity for a Mobile Developer - KTP Associate has become available to work full time on a 24-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). 

The aim of this post is to integrate, enhance and optimise existing business systems and processes; improve productivity and profitability, streamline service delivery and enrich logistics through better use of data analytics, machine learning and mobile technologies.  This post provides a valuable opportunity, not only embedding the capability to generate data to inform business decisions in the short term, but also to implement long term changes and sustained growth within the company, whereby intelligence generated can be converted into business actions: in terms of branding, guiding product mix and bespoke offerings

The successful candidate must possess:

Minimum BSc Hons (2.1 or 1st class) in a Computing-related subject

Application requirements:

Good knowledge/experience of mobile development

Good knowledge/experience of data warehouse design and Business Intelligence tools

Essential skills we require as a minimum:

Good project management skills

Organisational skills with the ability to plan under own initiative and to work to tight deadlines

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently or as part of a high performance team, collaborating with colleagues and sharing expertise
