Lumen Research is an innovative ‘attention technology’ company, using eye-tracking technology to measure the salience and engagement of visual communications by tracking a viewer's gaze point (location, duration, pattern etc); helping publishers, advertisers, and their agencies understand what really gets – and keeps - people’s attention. Clients include Tesco (bank, mobile, etc.), BT, e.on, NSPCC, Dixons, Carphone warehouse and Morrisons amongst others. They are currently working with the School of Engineering & Computing at UWS to embed machine learning expertise and develop a software tool for predicting a viewer’s likely response to a range of visual communications (adverts).
